A 12V EPS reference design board featuring APM19

概览

SEC-EPS-12V-APM19-GEVB is a three-phase inverter reference design for Electronic Power Steering (EPS).
This system uses the NXV04V120DB1 APM19 Automotive Power Module.
The APM provides very low thermal resistance, reduced parasitic inductance,
an integrated snubber, and a smaller overall footprint compared
to discrete implementations.
These benefits enable higher power density and an extremely efficient solution
in a smaller system size.

The LV8968BB three-phase BLDC pre-driver provides gate drive capability and
has been designed to help systems meet ASIL-B under ISO 26262. The motor
control algorithm for testing uses field-oriented control (FOC) along with
a current loop enabling fast response and high efficiency. Filling out the design,
onsemi provides devices for the power rails (NCV890200, NCV7805), analog signal chain (NCV20072, NCV20074), reverse battery protection MOSFET (FDBL9406-F085T6), CAN communication (NCV7340), and several small signal devices such as BJTs, diodes and ESD protection.
