NCP1215A 是一款用于低功耗离线反激开关模式电源 (SMPS) 的控制器，尺寸小、重量轻、成本低，且具有良好的低待机功耗性能。其运行原理为通过增加关断时间来降低轻型负载下的开关频率。另外，当关断时间延长时，峰值电流逐渐降至最大峰值电流的约 1/4，防止激发变压器机械谐振。噪声风险因此得以大幅降低，同时保持良好的待机功耗性能。
