NCP4371 是一款 USB 辅助侧快速充电控制器,支持 Qualcomm Quick Charge™ 3.0 (QC 3.0) 高电压专用充电端口 (HVDCP) A 级和 B 级规格。NCP4371 允许基于所供电便携式设备 (PD) 的命令选择 AC-DC USB 适配器的输出电压。选择更高的充电电压将降低某个特定功率等级下的充电电流,因此降低 IR 下降,提高系统能效。QC3.0 的另一个优势在于它能选择最佳充电电压,所以缩短了电池充电时间,降低了 PD 系统成本。因此 PD 内无需成本高昂的 DC-DC 转换器。USB-总线电压可通过几个步骤在 3.6V 到高达 20V 之间进行控制。输出电流限制为不超过最大允许功率等级。 NCP4371 位于适配器的辅助(隔离)侧。它包括了电压和电流反馈调节,因此无需 TL431 等分路稳压器。 NCP4371 提供了低至 VBUS=2.2V 的充电电流限制,会在发生软短路情况下保护便携设备不会受到过大电流影响。 NCP4371 集成了安全放电电路,拔下 USB 电缆或联接仅 5V USB 端口时可快速可靠地对输出电容器进行放电。
