NCL30002 是一款开关模式电源控制器,适用于中低功率单级功率因数 (PF) 校正的 LED 驱动器。该器件作为临界导通模式 (CrM) 降压控制器运行,用于针对特定的线路电压范围,以较高功率因数调节 LED 电流。该电流限值阈值进行严格微调,让开环控制技术能够减少零件数目,同时保持准确的电流调节和高功率因数。CrM 运行尤其适用于 LED 应用,因为即使在低功率水平下也能实现极高能效。这对于要符合合规要求,同时要满足总体系统光效能要求的 LED 照明尤其重要。在 CrM 中,开关频率根据线路和负载不同而变化。因为电流会在重新激活 MOSFET 主开关之前变为零值,所以输出整流器中的恢复损耗可以忽略,因此开关损耗低。
