MC74HC151 与 LS151 的引脚输出相同。该器件输入兼容标准的 CMOS 输出；带有上拉电阻器，可兼容 LSTTL 输出。此器件可根据地址输入选择八个二进制数据输入之一。“选通”引脚必须处于低电平，以便在输出处显示选定数据。如果“选通”为高电平，Y 输出会被强制为低电平，并且 Y bar 输出会被强制为高电平。HC151 的功能类似于具有三态输出的 HC251。
